Civil QAQC Engineer – Quality Assurance & Control

About the role

The Civil QAQC Engineer will lead quality assurance and control activities for building projects, ensuring compliance with QatarEnergy standards and international quality norms. This role combines hands‑on technical expertise with leadership of project and contractor QA/QC teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review quality documents such as ITP, MST and MAR.
• Develop dossiers and systemisation procedures in line with QatarEnergy requirements.
• Conduct first‑party and second‑party audits, manage NCRs and report KPI metrics.
• Attend quality meetings, produce monthly reports and KPI dashboards.
• Lead and motivate QA/QC teams on site and with contractors.
• Ensure adherence to QCS 2014/2024, Shell DEP and QPAD specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in oil & gas, petrochemical or infrastructure projects.
• At least 2 years of management experience in a Quality Management System.
• Certified Lead ISO 9001 Auditor (IRCA) – additional quality certifications are a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
