About the role

The Cluster Director of Sales will report directly to the Managing Director and sit on the senior leadership team. This senior role is responsible for shaping and executing a unified sales strategy that drives revenue, market share and positions the entire Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North cluster as a premier destination.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and implement an integrated sales strategy across luxury accommodations, MICE, corporate and leisure travel, water‑park groups, ticketing, beach‑club memberships and events.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary sales team, ensuring alignment, performance and collaboration across all assets.
  • Build and nurture commercial partnerships with corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators, DMCs, event organizers and government entities.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, revenue and operations to deliver cohesive commercial planning and execution.
  • Monitor sales performance, market trends and competitor activity, adjusting strategies proactively.
  • Represent the destination at major international trade shows, roadshows and industry events as the brand ambassador.
  • Achieve revenue targets, forecast accuracy and ROI‑driven decision‑making across the cluster.

Required profile

  • 5–7 years experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality, preferably in a cluster or resort complex.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive sales leadership experience, with at least 3–5 years in a multi‑asset environment.
  • Previous GCC experience highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of hotel, leisure attraction and lifestyle hospitality sales dynamics.
  • Experience with water‑parks or large‑scale entertainment venues is a strong advantage.
  • Proven ability to build, inspire and manage high‑performing teams across multiple business units.
  • Strong commercial acumen in sales planning, account management, channel optimisation and B2B/B2C engagement.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
