Commercial Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Commercial Manager to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. In this pivotal position you will act as a strategic bridge between operational requirements and corporate functions, ensuring commercial initiatives are robust, transparent, and aligned with organisational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic commercial and risk advice throughout all project phases to support leadership and assess performance.
• Develop and deliver financial reporting, forecasting, and commercial performance analysis for assigned projects and portfolios.
• Manage change control processes, identifying commercial implications, risks and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
• Apply contractual mechanisms, prepare change quotations and lead negotiations with clients and stakeholders.
• Participate in progress meetings, change control forums and client engagements to maintain transparency.
• Contribute to risk registers and support risk allowance assessments in financial reporting.
• Collaborate with discipline leads to assess scope changes and their commercial impact.
• Manage earned value management processes and cost reconciliation.

Required profile

• Analytical thinker with strong business acumen.
• Proven experience in commercial management, risk management, contract administration and financial forecasting.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work collaboratively with senior leadership, project teams and cross‑functional departments.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
