About the role

The Ned Doha is seeking a motivated Commis 1 to join its dynamic kitchen team within a luxury hospitality setting. This entry‑level position offers the chance to work alongside experienced chefs and develop culinary skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare high‑quality ingredients and dishes in line with the hotel's culinary standards.
• Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs in daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain consistency, presentation, and attention to detail for all food items.
• Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver memorable dining experiences for guests.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef, preferably in a luxury hotel or high‑volume restaurant.
• Genuine passion for food and hospitality with a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
