About the role
The Complex Financial Controller acts as the strategic financial business leader for the property, driving financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis to support the brand’s service strategy and return on investment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead strategic financial planning, analyze market trends, forecast sales, and develop annual budgets.
- Monitor actual performance versus forecasts, identify profit‑improvement opportunities, and recommend cost‑benefit initiatives.
- Ensure robust accounting controls, safeguard assets, and oversee internal, external and regulatory audit processes.
- Manage tax compliance, maintain accurate P&L statements, and enforce adherence to SOPs and local regulations.
- Provide financial insights to owners, the executive team, and the General Manager, and represent finance in stakeholder meetings.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (or a Master’s degree in the same field).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance and accounting or a related professional area.
