Consultant - Fragrances

About the role

Chalhoub Group, a luxury retailer in the Middle East with over 10 owned brands and more than 400 international names, is hiring a Consultant for fragrances. The role combines customer advice, sales and merchandising in the store, with a focus on building loyalty and meeting store targets.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain guest experience standards to build strong loyalty
• Answer customer queries about products, prices, availability, uses and services
• Assess customer needs, advise on the best product ranges and demonstrate the usage and benefits of brands and products
• Generate sales and achieve line and sales targets, using makeup knowledge
• Track sell-out targets at store level and generate daily sales reports
• Participate in achieving incentives and track post-launch sales at store level
• Ensure merchandising levels meet brand guidelines and replenish stock on the right shelves and counters at the right times
• Report stock shortages via the stock order form and receive stock according to set procedures

Required profile

• Proven expertise in fragrance, including fragrance families, ingredients, layering and client consultation
• Strong knowledge of luxury retail standards and premium customer service
• Passion for fragrance, storytelling and creating personalised scent journeys for clients
• Fluent spoken English; additional languages are an advantage
