Consultant Gastroenterologist

About the role

The Taleb Group of Companies is seeking a full‑time Consultant Gastroenterologist to join its medical management division in Qatar. You will be responsible for diagnosing, treating and managing disorders of the gastrointestinal and hepatic systems, delivering high‑quality patient care on site.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, review medical histories and order appropriate diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications and monitor patient progress.
• Perform advanced endoscopic and colonoscopic procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain compliance with medical ethics, patient safety standards and cultural competence guidelines.

Required profile

• Board certification in Gastroenterology.
• Valid medical licensure to practice in Qatar or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in gastroenterology.
• Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities in high‑pressure environments.
