Contract Manager - Roads & Infrastructure (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

An established contractor in Qatar working on road, highway and infrastructure projects is looking for a Contract Manager who speaks Arabic. The contractor has multiple ongoing projects and many upcoming ones, and can offer employment for several years. The successful candidate provides strategic leadership across all contractual and commercial activities for large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Drive commercial performance by proactively managing contractual risk, protecting the organisation's interests and controlling project costs and financial exposure.
• Lead the administration and negotiation of contracts, claims and subcontract agreements, and establish commercial controls and governance.
• Build strong working relationships with project teams, clients, suppliers and other stakeholders to resolve commercial matters and support profitable project delivery.

Required profile

• Degree in engineering, quantity surveying or similar.
• 15+ years of relevant contracts and commercial management experience in the construction industry.
• Proven track record on large-scale civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
