About the role
The Controller I acts as the strategic financial business leader for the property, developing and implementing finance strategies that support brand initiatives and maximize return on investment.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze financial data, market trends and forecast sales versus expenses to create annual budget plans.
- Lead accounting teams, communicate strategic goals, assign accountability and ensure accurate profit and loss reporting.
- Monitor taxes, oversee internal, external and regulatory audits, and ensure compliance with SOPs.
- Engage with owners and executive stakeholders, provide financial insights, and advise on operating and financial issues.
Required profile
- 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (or master’s degree with no experience required).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in finance and accounting or a related professional area.
