Controller I

About the role

The Controller I acts as the strategic financial business leader for the property, driving financial planning, analysis and control to support brand initiatives and maximize return on investment. This full‑time position is based on site in Lusail, Qatar and reports to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial data, market trends and forecast sales versus expenses to create annual budget plans.
• Develop and monitor profit improvement initiatives, including cost‑benefit analysis and new business opportunities.
• Lead accounting teams, ensuring strong internal controls, accurate P&L reporting and compliance with SOPs and audit requirements.
• Manage tax compliance, internal, external and regulatory audits, and ensure accurate recording of costs and revenues.
• Provide financial insights to owners, executive team and GM, attending stakeholder meetings and communicating results clearly.

Required profile

• 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (or master’s degree with no experience required).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance and accounting or a related professional area.
