About the role

The Controller I acts as the strategic financial business leader for the property, developing and implementing finance-wide strategies that support brand initiatives and maximize return on investment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial data, market trends and forecast sales against expenses to create annual budget plans.
• Develop profit‑improvement initiatives, estimate costs and benefits, and explore new business opportunities.
• Lead accounting teams, ensure strong internal controls, and safeguard assets.
• Monitor taxes, oversee internal, external and regulatory audits, and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Provide timely financial reporting, accurate P&L statements, and support audit corrections.
• Advise the General Manager and executive committee on financial issues and present results to owners.

Required profile

• 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (or master’s degree with no experience required).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance and accounting or a related professional area.
