Corporate Accountant – Financial Reporting & Analysis

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Accountant to lead the end‑to‑end accounting of our loyalty program provider business. The role ensures compliance with tax laws, accounting standards, and internal controls while delivering accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Apply tax regulations, IFRS, ICFR and group policies to all accounting activities.
• Execute general ledger controls, retain audit evidence and maintain coding structures for cost centres and profit centres.
• Manage accounting for deferred revenue, deferred cost and transfer pricing in line with IFRS requirements.
• Prepare management financial statements, perform inter‑company matching and conduct balance‑sheet analysis.
• Design and maintain cost‑allocation processes by segment and channel, including bad‑debt provisions.
• Complete local balance‑sheet reconciliations for receivables, ODC and OPEX accruals.
• Identify optimisation and automation opportunities and participate in finance‑process improvement projects.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce or a related field; Chartered Accountant certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting, reporting and management reporting, preferably within the telecommunications sector.
• Strong understanding of telecom products and IFRS reporting standards.
