Customer Group Manager - Energy

About the role

The Customer Group Manager – Energy will lead the Oil & Gas segment sales for Jotun in Qatar. You will promote Jotun’s coating solutions, develop new business opportunities, and build strong customer relationships to meet sales, margin and market share targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the local Oil & Gas market.
• Promote and sell assigned product segments through regular customer visits and market insight gathering.
• Coordinate project teams to ensure Jotun products are specified and used on projects.
• Resolve customer issues directly or escalate when necessary.
• Work with internal teams to guarantee timely delivery and high‑quality service.
• Monitor customer collections to meet agreed payment terms.
• Execute sales activities to achieve volume and gross‑margin targets.
• Track market trends, demand, and competitor activity to support market expansion.
• If required, lead and coach the sales team to achieve performance goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on profitability and risk management.
• Ability to influence, persuade and build a useful network of contacts.
• Analytical mindset with sound judgment on complex issues.
