Data Migration Lead

About the role

The Data Migration Lead will drive the design and execution of complex data migration programs, ensuring accurate transfer of historical and in‑flight records into target systems. The role requires strong leadership, deep Siebel migration expertise, and the ability to coordinate multiple technical and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define migration strategy, scope, work plan, dependencies, resource needs and delivery controls.
• Assess source data structures, volumes, quality, business rules and design source‑to‑target mappings.
• Lead extraction, staging, transformation, loading and delta processes, applying Siebel EIM/EAI methods.
• Establish validation, reconciliation, exception management and acceptance criteria.
• Plan and execute migration testing, mock runs, performance testing, cut‑over, rollback and post‑migration support.
• Coordinate business, data, integration and target‑system teams while managing risks, issues and progress reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading complex, multi‑entity data migration programs.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of data profiling, ETL, source‑to‑target mapping and data quality.
• Extensive Siebel data migration experience, including EIM and EAI.
• Experience migrating financial or transactional data with audit history and supporting documents.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills, preferably with SQL Server.
