Data Warehouse Expert - Consultant (Phase 3 Implementation)

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a Data Warehouse Expert as a consultant for Phase 3 of a project, covering implementation, project management and consulting (PMC) and technical support. The consultant reports to the Project Director / Client Representative and oversees the implementation, integration and optimisation of the Data Warehouse solution until the Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC) is issued, working with system integrators, data engineers, vendors and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee Data Warehouse implementation against the approved plan, scope, timelines and milestones, and help track progress, risks, issues and dependencies
• Ensure compliance with contractual, architectural and data governance requirements
• Advise on Data Warehouse architecture, data models and ETL/ELT pipelines, and review and validate data models, integration designs and implementation documents
• Oversee integration of data from transactional systems, applications and third-party platforms, and support data quality, metadata and master data standards
• Coordinate system integrators, data engineers, BI/analytics teams and business stakeholders, and act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor
• Support data validation, reconciliation and testing, review UAT results, and ensure performance tuning and issue resolution
• Identify and resolve technical challenges related to data ingestion, transformation, storage and reporting
