Demi Chef de Partie – St. Regis Residence Doha

About the role

The St. Regis Residence in Doha is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie to support the culinary team in delivering high‑quality dishes and exceptional guest experiences. You will work in a fast‑paced kitchen, preparing both hot and cold menu items while maintaining strict food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals, substitute items, and cold foods according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate oven, broiler, grill and roaster temperatures; pull and thaw frozen items.
• Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, garnish, and maintain food logs.
• Monitor food quality and quantity, inform the Chef of excess items for daily specials.
• Communicate menu specials and out‑of‑stock items to Food & Beverage service staff.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and performance coaching as needed.
• Follow all company safety, security and hygiene policies; report any incidents.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school education in culinary arts.
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant kitchen experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lb and perform repetitive kitchen tasks.
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude toward guests and colleagues.
