Digital Business Partner

About the role

The Digital Business Partner will serve as the primary liaison between the assigned MATAR business portfolio (AOCC, FM and Customer Experience) and MATAR IT at Hamad International Airport. The role focuses on aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, driving digital transformation, and ensuring that IT investments deliver maximum value.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, prioritize and translate business demands into clear requirements for effective governance and portfolio planning.
• Maintain deep understanding of the assigned business domain through continuous engagement with processes, services and challenges.
• Identify and promote innovation, data‑driven improvement and digital transformation opportunities.
• Collaborate on technology and capability roadmaps, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational goals.
• Support the definition of AI product requirements within the business domain.
• Facilitate resolution of conflicting priorities through communication, escalation and negotiation.
• Conduct regular service reviews, stakeholder discussions and feedback sessions.
• Contribute to demand and annual planning, budgeting and supplier interactions.
• Track continual service improvement actions and monitor business value outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum 6‑7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of airport or similar large‑scale operational environments (airport experience preferred).
• Proven ability to build partnership‑based relationships with both business and IT stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
