Draftsman – Drainage & TSE Infrastructure

About the role

The Draftsman will produce accurate engineering drawings for drainage and Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with Ashghal standards. Working closely with design and construction teams, the role supports project delivery through timely drafting, revisions, and traffic diversion plans.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings for drainage and TSE projects using AutoCAD and related software.
• Develop, revise, and update construction, as‑built, and shop drawings in line with project requirements.
• Create Traffic Diversion Plan (TDP) drawings that meet Ashghal guidelines.
• Coordinate with engineers, project teams, and site personnel to incorporate design changes.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision records, and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before submission.
• Provide drafting support during coordination meetings and project execution.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Engineer or Project Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on Ashghal drainage and TSE projects.
• Proven experience preparing engineering drawings for drainage, sewerage, and utility works.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
