Duty Engineer – Hotel Engineering

About the role

As a Duty Engineer at the MGallery hotel in Doha, you will ensure that all engineering facilities, equipment and systems operate safely, efficiently and reliably. You will be part of a team that supports seamless stays for guests and Heartists by delivering proactive maintenance and rapid technical response.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily engineering operations and promptly respond to maintenance requests.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC and other building systems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, conduct regular inspections and ensure equipment safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate work orders, manage emergencies, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments and external contractors as needed.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical qualification in Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience in a similar engineering role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Proactive, reliable and safety‑conscious attitude with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
