Duty Manager – Airport Security

About the role

The Duty Manager – Airport Security is responsible for safeguarding airport staff, passengers, equipment and assets around the clock. Working 24‑hours a day, you will coordinate response actions, communicate with all airport areas and act as the primary liaison between airlines, tenants and senior management on security matters.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and protect airport operations against unlawful interference, theft, damage and fines.
• Lead and coordinate security responses across all airport zones.
• Advise airlines and tenants on security legislation and ensure compliance with the Airport Security Program.
• Assess security implications of operational changes and report findings to senior management.
• Maintain effective communication with internal departments, external stakeholders and law‑enforcement agencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• AVSEC Management Certification.
• Minimum 5 years of aviation security experience.
• Prior experience in police, military police or military operations is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of general security operations requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
