Electrical Draftsman - LV Switchgear

About the role

MIRAN SOLUTIONS is recruiting an experienced Electrical Draftsman for LV switchgear on behalf of a client company in Qatar. The role covers preparing detailed electrical drawings for LV switchgear and panel manufacturing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings for LV switchgear and electrical panels.
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and wiring/control circuit drawings.
• Develop and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare panel layouts, component layouts and wiring drawings.
• Review drawings and technical specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with electrical design, estimation and production teams.
• Make revisions based on engineering and project requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with applicable standards and project specifications.

Required profile

• 2-5 years of relevant experience as an Electrical Draftsman.
• Experience in LV switchgear/panel drawings.
• Ability to understand electrical schematics and panel layouts.
• Experience in switchgear/panel manufacturing is an advantage.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of GA, SLD and wiring drawings.
