Electrical Technician - Offshore

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for an Electrical Technician for an offshore position in Qatar. The role covers electrical installation, maintenance and troubleshooting on board, and follows offshore HSE standards and safe work procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Carry out cable pulling, glanding, termination, lighting, panel and testing works.
• Read and follow electrical drawings, cable schedules and work instructions.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or a relevant trade.
• Relevant offshore experience as Electrical Technician.
• Electrical Habilitation L-1 and L-2 (high and low voltage) certificates.
• Offshore certificates such as T-BOSIET, H2S and OMF.
• Available to join immediately.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools and testing equipment.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and cable schedules.
