Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Expert – Arabic (Doha)

About the role

The Ministry is seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Expert fluent in Arabic and English to lead the development and execution of its risk management program in Doha. This is a one‑year onsite contract position, ideal for professionals with strong analytical backgrounds and relevant certifications.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously develop the Ministry’s risk management program and maintain relationships with all stakeholders.
• Identify legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements that may impact business objectives.
• Coordinate with internal risk, compliance, and service teams to create mitigation plans.
• Maintain and update risk registers, ensuring accurate reporting for executive decision‑making.
• Monitor key risk indicators, evaluate data, and produce insight reports on emerging trends.
• Prepare periodic risk reports and support the implementation of the risk management framework.
• Collaborate with risk team members to provide analytical expertise and training on framework processes.
• Represent the Ministry in risk‑related meetings, seminars, and conferences.

Required profile

• Experience in science, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as ISO 31000, COSO ERM, Sarbanes‑Oxley, GDPR, IRM, FRM, CBI, CFA, or AML.
• Proficiency with risk management platforms.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Available to join immediately or within 30 days.
