Executive Chef – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Executive Chef will lead all culinary operations across La Cigale Hotel’s multiple dining venues, banquet services and room‑service outlets, delivering innovative, seasonal menus that blend international and authentic Arabic/Middle‑Eastern flavours for a discerning luxury clientele.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee culinary production for restaurants, all‑day dining, specialty venues, banquets, and room service.
• Develop and execute seasonal and event menus, including Ramadan Iftar/Suhoor, weddings, gala dinners and VIP functions.
• Manage food costs, budgeting, purchasing, inventory, portion control and waste reduction to meet financial targets.
• Recruit, train, mentor and evaluate a multicultural kitchen team, fostering creativity and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, Qatar food‑safety regulations and hotel hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
• Extensive senior culinary experience in luxury hotels, with proven leadership of multiple outlets and large‑scale production.
• Strong expertise in international cuisines and Arabic/Middle‑Eastern specialties.
• Previous experience in Qatar or GCC is an advantage.
