Executive, Community & Events

About the role

Parsons is seeking an Executive, Community & Events to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of city‑wide activations and events in Qatar. The role bridges internal teams, service providers and external stakeholders to bring the client’s assets to life while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of the overall activation and events strategy.
• Create and maintain project plans, activation trackers, documentation and licence letters.
• Communicate activation details promptly to internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits with service providers and stakeholders to assess venues and prepare locations.
• Oversee event operations from setup through execution to site clearance.
• Attend debriefs, collect data and assist the Lead in preparing activation reports.
• Prepare correspondence, reports and statistical data related to events and community activations.
• Liaise with Marketing, PR, government entities and finance to secure licences, approvals and timely payments.
• Prioritise tasks and manage duties with minimal guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Public Relations or a related field.
• Minimum four years of experience in events, community activation, arts management, planning or public administration.
• Good knowledge of the Qatar events market dynamics and regulatory environment.
• Familiarity with project management, vendor relations and sponsorship management.
• Understanding of city management or real‑estate operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
