Experienced Accountant (5+ years)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant with at least five years of professional experience to manage our financial records, ensure transaction accuracy, and support the company’s financial operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, reconciliations, and day‑to‑day accounting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, and vendor reconciliation.
• Oversee accounts receivable functions, such as invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliation.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring correct posting of transactions.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary information during audits.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of proven experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and capacity to work independently.
• Arabic language proficiency is an added advantage.

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
