Experienced Editor (Arabic & English)

About the role

The Experienced Editor will create, review, and edit high‑quality bilingual (Arabic and English) content for government digital platforms. This role ensures that all published material meets editorial, accessibility, and governmental communication standards while supporting the overall digital engagement strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct the first review of content produced by Editors or Senior Editors, applying necessary corrections before hand‑off to the Stream Lead.
• Write Arabic and English content for the platform, including news, events, services, articles, and topics.
• Address editorial requests, report remarks, and implement required changes.
• Update content sections on the government platform as needed.
• Follow editorial, accessibility, and other relevant guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Gather information from credible sources, respecting copyright before publishing.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and meet reporting and KPI requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in content creation or editorial work, with proven bilingual Arabic‑English writing ability.
• Strong understanding of government communication strategies and digital engagement.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Reports to the Stream Lead and Team Lead.
