Fabricator - Marine

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a Fabricator for its marine division in Doha. The role covers the fabrication, cutting, fitting, grinding and assembly of marine structural components, including supports, frames, platforms, brackets, handrails and deck structures.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate and repair supports, frames, platforms, brackets, handrails and deck structures.
• Read and follow fabrication drawings, measurements and job specifications.
• Use cutting, grinding, drilling and fabrication tools safely.
• Coordinate with welders, fitters and marine crew during fabrication.
• Follow PTW, hot work, housekeeping and HSE requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3-5 years of welding or fabrication experience in marine projects.
• Experience on vessels, barges, shipyards, ports or marine facilities.
• Able to read basic fabrication drawings and welding symbols and take accurate measurements.
• Good knowledge of hot work safety and marine working conditions.
• Trade certificate or relevant fabrication certification preferred.

Required skills

• SMAW / GTAW / FCAW / MIG welding, as applicable.
• Structural steel fabrication and fitting.
• Use of cutting, grinding, drilling and fabrication tools.
