Facility Manager – Secret Clearance

About the role

The Facility Manager will oversee planning, operation, maintenance, and improvement of all facilities and infrastructure at Al Udeid Air Base. This position ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards while supporting mission readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage daily operations of buildings, utilities, roads and other infrastructure.
• Ensure all facilities meet safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and direct corrective maintenance activities.
• Manage contracts, vendors and service providers for upgrades, repairs and inspections.
• Develop and control budgets for operations, maintenance and improvement projects.
• Lead and supervise a team of technicians, engineers and support staff.
• Conduct inspections, assess maintenance needs and recommend solutions.
• Implement energy‑efficient and sustainability initiatives.
• Coordinate emergency response plans related to facility incidents.
• Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on facility status and performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of facilities management experience, preferably in a military, government or large‑scale operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, infrastructure and maintenance processes.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; U.S. passport preferred.
• Ability to meet USCENTCOM deployment policy and obtain a Qatar residency visa.
• Willingness to work in extreme environmental conditions and endure long hours.
• 100% travel in deployed location and ability to maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
