GSAS Specialist – Sustainability Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a GSAS Specialist to join our multidisciplinary consultancy in Doha. The role is full‑time, on‑site and focuses on delivering sustainability outcomes for large‑scale infrastructure and building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and oversee sustainability processes to ensure compliance with Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS) requirements.
• Conduct environmental assessments and produce technical reports for project teams.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors to align projects with green building certifications.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing consultancy on best‑practice sustainable design.
• Monitor project milestones and verify that sustainability targets are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of GSAS standards, green building practices and sustainability principles.
• Project management experience, including stakeholder coordination and milestone tracking.
• Proficiency with sustainability‑related software, data analysis tools and documentation processes.
• Experience preparing technical reports and conducting environmental assessments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Architecture, Engineering or a related field; advanced sustainability certifications are a plus.
• Fluent in English; Arabic and familiarity with local regulations are advantageous.
