Factory & Production Manager

About the role

The Factory & Production Manager oversees the entire marble manufacturing process, from material selection to final delivery. The role ensures efficient workflow, high‑quality output, on‑time delivery, and strict adherence to safety and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate daily and weekly production activities, including cutting, polishing, edging, fabrication and finishing.
• Monitor output to meet delivery timelines and customer specifications while optimizing machine utilization.
• Implement and monitor quality standards for marble slabs, tiles and custom items, conducting regular inspections and corrective actions.
• Lead production supervisors, machine operators, technicians and labor staff, assigning tasks, monitoring performance and ensuring proper training.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for cutting machines, polishing lines, CNC machines and other equipment.
• Manage inventory of raw marble blocks, slabs, adhesives, blades and consumables, working with procurement for timely replenishment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and factory regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Prepare production reports, track wastage, machine performance and workforce productivity, and provide cost and schedule estimates for pricing stages.
