F&B Hostess

About the role

IHG Hotels & Resorts is looking for an F&B Hostess to welcome guests, manage reservations and coordinate seating in a restaurant setting. The role covers the front desk and reception area, working closely with management, service and kitchen teams.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and escort guests warmly and professionally, creating a lasting first impression.
• Manage reservations, VIP bookings and special requests accurately and discreetly.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to ensure a smooth service flow.
• Communicate with restaurant management, service and kitchen teams to meet guest expectations.
• Maintain a polished reception area reflecting the restaurant's luxury standards.
• Monitor table availability and waiting times, and personalize the guest journey by recognizing returning guests and special occasions.
• Share information on signature dishes, seasonal menus and exclusive events.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles and reservation records, and contribute to occupancy and revenue through efficient reservation management.
• Support management with administrative and operational tasks.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a hostess or in a guest-facing role in a restaurant or hotel; fine-dining experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, polished appearance.
• Friendly, confident and genuinely guest-focused.
• Strong organization and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Familiarity with reservation systems is an advantage.
