FEC Technician – Technical Specialist for Family Entertainment Centers

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on FEC Technician to join our operations team in Doha. You will be responsible for keeping our Family Entertainment Center attractions running smoothly, ensuring high guest satisfaction and maximum machine uptime.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair arcade machines, simulators, redemption games, kiddie rides, VR units and other attractions.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly preventive maintenance checks.
• Replace and repair components such as sensors, buttons, joysticks, motors, power supplies, card readers, ticket dispensers, speakers, LED systems and display screens.
• Support POS systems, game‑card systems, QR scanners, redemption counters and network‑connected machines.
• Maintain AV, PA, lighting and display equipment.
• Assist with installation, setup, dismantling and commissioning for venues, events and seasonal activations.
• Keep accurate service records, maintenance logs and spare‑parts inventories.
• Coordinate with suppliers for spare parts, warranty claims and technical support while adhering to safety standards and Qatar regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in an FEC, arcade, amusement park or similar technical environment (freshers with strong technical knowledge are also welcome).
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of electronics, wiring, sensors, relays and power supplies.
• Basic networking concepts.
• Proficiency with multimeters and diagnostic tools.
• Experience with POS, game‑card and QR scanning systems.
• Familiarity with AV, PA, lighting and display equipment.
