Finance Manager

About the role

An experienced Finance Manager is sought to join a finance team in Doha, Qatar. The role covers day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and compliance, and suits a hands-on finance professional who enjoys managing financial processes and improving controls.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and month-end and year-end close.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports on time and accurately.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management, and conduct financial analysis and management reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulations and company policies.
• Help develop and improve internal controls and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Monitor performance, support tax compliance and statutory reporting, and supervise and develop finance team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 5-7 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Strong IFRS and financial reporting knowledge; experience in multinational environments is an advantage.
• Desirable: exposure to audit processes and experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial analysis.

Required skills

• ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and effective communication.
