Finance Manager - Shared Service

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead our shared services finance function at Banana Island Resort Doha. The role ensures robust accounting, financial reporting and operational controls across multiple finance processes, supporting the property’s profitability and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end shared service operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, inter‑company transactions, income and night audit, and credit management.
• Ensure daily transactions are processed accurately, approved per policy and recorded on time.
• Monitor cash, bank, revenue, receivables, payables and balance‑sheet items, resolve discrepancies and escalate critical issues.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations and financial adjustments.
• Prepare and review variance analysis, management reports, KPI presentations and weekly financial updates for leadership.
• Support statutory, regulatory, owner and corporate reporting requirements.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, analyse budget and forecast variances and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing finance shared services in a hospitality or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls and reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
