Finance Manager – Shared Services

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the shared‑service finance function for a luxury resort in Doha, ensuring accurate accounting, robust reporting and effective operational control. This role safeguards assets, drives profitability and supports strategic decision‑making across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end shared‑service operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliations, Fixed Assets, Intercompany Transactions, Income Audit, Night Audit and Credit Management.
• Ensure daily financial transactions are processed, approved and recorded in line with policy.
• Monitor cash, bank, revenue, receivable, payable and balance‑sheet activities, resolving discrepancies and escalating critical issues.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations and financial adjustments.
• Prepare and review variance analysis, management reports, KPI presentations and statutory filings.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, analyse budget deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with property leadership, owners, auditors and internal departments to maintain financial discipline and compliance.

Required profile

• Strong accounting background with experience in finance shared‑service environments.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and risk mitigation.
