Financial Analyst – LNG Business Unit

About the role

The Financial Analyst will join the Middle East & Africa LNG Business Unit in Doha, providing accurate financial reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting support. The role delivers timely insights that enable data‑driven decisions while ensuring compliance with local and corporate financial standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow variances.
• Support Business Unit planning and forecasting activities such as Long‑Range Plans, annual budgets and monthly outlooks.
• Respond to financial and operational inquiries, offering analytical support for business decisions.
• Manage corporate tax reporting requests and assist internal and external audit activities.
• Participate in SOX documentation, maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to governance standards.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal finance stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline (foreign equivalents accepted).
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience with advanced knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
