Fitness & Wellness Assistant

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Doha is seeking a Fitness & Wellness Assistant to join its Spa & Wellness department. You will support members, maintain equipment, and ensure the fitness areas—including studios, changing facilities and swimming pools—are clean and safe. The role reports to the Director of Spa & Wellness and contributes to a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver fitness and wellness classes in line with department SOPs.
• Maintain accurate class and programme schedules.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of all fitness areas, studios, and changing facilities according to FLHSS&E guidelines.
• Assist guests throughout their day to guarantee a smooth journey.
• Support the upkeep and safety of fitness equipment and pool areas.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience working in a fitness centre environment.
• Previous experience in a 5‑star hotel is an advantage.
• Experience in the Middle East region is a plus.
• Professional attitude with strong integrity and respect for guests and colleagues.

Required skills

• Ability to operate and maintain a variety of fitness equipment.
• Knowledge of hygiene standards for fitness and pool facilities.
• Strong communication skills for conducting classes and assisting guests.
