Food & Beverage Intern

About the role

This internship offers a hands‑on introduction to food and beverage operations within a four‑star Marriott hotel. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining insight into daily service, back‑of‑house processes, and the overall guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Observe and support front‑of‑house service during breakfast, lunch and dinner periods.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic prep tasks and learn inventory management procedures.
• Participate in guest interaction training to understand service standards.
• Help with the setup and breakdown of dining areas for events and meetings.
• Shadow department managers to learn operational planning and cost control.

Required profile

• Current college or university student pursuing a degree related to hospitality, tourism, business or a similar field.
• Strong interest in the hotel and food‑service industry.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
