Food & Beverage Supervisor

About the role

The Food & Beverage Supervisor ensures high standards of service and operational efficiency in the assigned outlet of The Chedi Katara. The role combines guest‑focused service, team leadership, and financial oversight to support the outlet’s success.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain consistently high service standards, handle guest requests, feedback and complaints, and promote upselling.
• Supervise daily outlet operations, ensure brand and service procedures are followed, and coordinate with Kitchen, Beverage, Housekeeping and other departments.
• Oversee cleanliness, organization, front‑ and back‑of‑house readiness, and proper cash‑handling, billing and Micros procedures.
• Support inventory checks, stock control, and preparation for events, functions and special operational requirements.
• Assist the Outlet Manager in achieving revenue targets while controlling costs.
• Lead the team by monitoring attendance, grooming, uniform standards, providing coaching, conducting briefings and reinforcing hotel policies and safety procedures.
• Participate in meetings, trainings and represent The Chedi Katara professionally at all times.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management.
• Minimum 2 years of Food & Beverage experience, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving and supervisory abilities.
