Front Desk Receptionist – Doha Education City

About the role

Premier Inn, a leading British hotel brand operating across the Middle East, is looking for a friendly and detail‑oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join its team at the Doha Education City property. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences while upholding the brand’s high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, visitors and suppliers with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Handle all telephone inquiries, provide information on promotions, room rates, local activities and events.
• Process reservations, cancellations and payments accurately following cash‑handling procedures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date guest records in the Opera Property Management System.
• Identify corporate leads, build long‑term relationships and promote online guest feedback.
• Perform general office duties such as email correspondence, filing and stock management of reception supplies.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve guest requests and complaints promptly.
• Ensure guest safety by adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year experience as a hotel receptionist in a front‑office environment.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Proactive, organized and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera (PMS) software.
