General Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

Accor is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead the Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha. You will be the strategic driver of the hotel’s performance, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while delivering profitability and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to meet business goals and improve overall performance.
• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team across rooms division, food & beverage, sales & marketing, and finance.
• Maintain the highest standards of guest service and satisfaction.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost control and overall financial performance.
• Build and nurture relationships with owners, corporate leadership and local community partners.
• Drive revenue growth through innovative marketing and business development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, brand standards and company policies.
• Implement quality‑assurance programs and stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity.
• Represent the hotel at industry events and within the local community.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a General Manager in the hospitality sector.
• Strong track record in strategic planning and project leadership.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercial acumen with solid financial management expertise.
• In‑depth knowledge of hotel operations, including rooms, F&B and MICE.
• Familiarity with local regulations and business practices in the region.
• Innovative mindset focused on continuous improvement and guest satisfaction.
• Flexibility to work extended hours in a high‑pressure environment.
