Global Network Banking Relationship Manager (Qatari National)

About the role

HSBC is seeking an ambitious Qatari national to join its Global Network Banking team in Qatar as a Relationship Manager. The role involves managing a portfolio of international corporate customers, driving revenue growth and ensuring high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the client portfolio across Qatar and potentially multiple countries.
• Drive revenue growth by understanding client needs and delivering needs‑based solutions.
• Manage work and support resources to optimise client visits and service quality.
• Collaborate with sales, product development, risk and compliance teams to provide appropriate solutions.
• Build deep knowledge of clients’ businesses and industries to enrich conversations and deliver fair outcomes.
• Conduct proactive credit risk assessments and customer due‑diligence reviews.
• Manage financial‑crime risk throughout the client lifecycle, including identification, assessment, monitoring and escalation.
• Ensure compliance with HSBC operational risk standards and report any breaches.
• Stay informed on HSBC products, competitor offerings and market developments.
• Escalate relevant client information to maintain a comprehensive risk view.
• Drive new‑to‑bank acquisition as a key performance metric.

Required profile

• Proven banking experience as a Relationship Manager or Associate Relationship Manager supporting international subsidiaries or multinational corporations in Qatar.
• Strong credit analysis and financial analytical capabilities.
