Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst will support the business with financial analyses, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting and business case development. The role focuses on adding value to improve decision‑making and streamline financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop financial models and conduct analysis using quantitative tools.
• Analyse and report actual revenues and costs; prepare root‑cause variance analyses on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with finance stakeholders.
• Conduct revenue and cost analysis for senior management.
• Define, track and report key performance indicators regularly.
• Ensure financial reporting aligns with corporate definitions and optimize profitability reporting.
• Review annual budget submissions against strategic targets.
• Control spend to meet cost‑of‑sale targets and recommend corrective actions.
• Evaluate business case proposals for incremental revenue or cost reduction, including CMC submissions.
• Review contracts for financial compliance and consolidate departmental results monthly and during budgeting.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability to interpret variances and profit‑and‑loss impacts.
• Fluent command of English.
• Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Self‑starter capable of working independently.
