Gourmet Coffee Barista

About the role

Join the renowned Ritz‑Carlton team in Doha as a Gourmet Coffee Barista. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional coffee and service experiences to guests while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the area.
• Take guest orders, record them in the MICROS system, and prepare coffee and food items.
• Handle cash transactions using the cash register system, provide change, and reconcile the till at shift end.
• Maintain workstations, coffee carts, and dining areas clean and well‑stocked.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and uniform standards.
• Provide courteous, professional service to all guests, including assistance for individuals with disabilities.
• Inspect equipment for defects and report any safety concerns.

Required profile

• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 month experience in a food‑and‑beverage or hospitality environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift items up to 25 lb for an entire shift.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance.
