GRP/FRP/RTRP Inspector – Composite Piping

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Inspector with extensive hands‑on experience in composite piping (GRP, FRP, RTRP) fabrication, erection, inspection and testing. The successful candidate will work on both shop and site projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and delivering clear, professional inspection reports.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of GRP/FRP/RTRP fabrication, erection and testing activities in workshop and field environments.
• Verify compliance with ISO, ASTM, AWWA and DEP standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings to EPC contractors, TPIs and client representatives.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure quality requirements are met throughout production and installation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years full‑time experience in GRP/FRP/RTRP inspection, including both shop and site work.
• Prior experience as a Third‑Party Inspector or client‑approved inspector on EPIC projects.
• Valid training certificate for ISO 14692 Part 4 (2017) Annex C or DEP 31.40.10.19 Gen.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of composite manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with standards: ISO 14692 (Parts 1‑4), AWWA C950, ASTM D1598, D1599, D2992, D2563, D2583, D2584, D3567, DEP 31.40.10.19 Gen.
• Technical reporting and constructive communication.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, QA/QC procedures and international standards.
