Guest Service Officer – Front Office

About the role

The Guest Service Officer creates a welcoming and memorable arrival and departure experience for guests at Andaz Doha. Working at the front desk, you will handle guest inquiries, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, and ensure all requests are addressed in line with Andaz and Hyatt service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform front desk operations, including check‑in, check‑out and room assignments.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests and complaints, maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Maintain accurate guest records using the hotel property management system.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest needs efficiently.
• Uphold Andaz brand standards of service, wellbeing, inclusion and empathy.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–2 years of front office experience in an upscale or luxury hotel.
• Strong knowledge of front office operations, guest relations and hotel procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with hotel PMS systems, preferably Opera.
