Head of Budgeting & Forecasting

About the role

The Head of Budgeting & Forecasting leads the end‑to‑end budgeting and forecasting cycle for the group and its subsidiaries. You will design and maintain digital templates, ensure compliance with policies, and provide the Board with clear financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and supervise the annual financial planning model, including revenue, OPEX and CAPEX budgets for the group, parent and subsidiaries.
• Design, digitize and control budgeting and forecasting templates used by all departments.
• Collect, review and validate budget and forecast submissions for accuracy, completeness and alignment with corporate objectives.
• Consolidate departmental data, prepare variance analysis and detailed reports comparing actual performance to budget and forecast.
• Present financial results and forecasts to senior management and the Board of Directors.
• Maintain and update budgeting guidelines, forecasting procedures and a group balance scorecard measuring KPI performance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and shareholders to communicate assumptions and long‑range plans.
• Identify and propose improvements to the budgeting process, including IT tooling and digitalisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes for large organisations.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to critically examine data for correctness and completeness.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior management, board members and shareholders.
• Ability to lead a team, conduct regular meetings and ensure confidentiality of financial information.
