Head of Budgeting & Forecasting

About the role

The Head of Budgeting & Forecasting leads the end‑to‑end budgeting and forecasting process across the organization, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with corporate strategy. This senior position oversees template design, data collection, consolidation, and variance analysis while supporting Board reporting and shareholder communications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated budgeting and forecasting templates for all business units.
• Collect, review, and validate budget and forecast inputs from departments for completeness and compliance.
• Consolidate data, prepare group‑wide budgets (revenues, OPEX, CAPEX) and present financial status to senior management.
• Monitor actual performance versus budget/forecast, produce variance reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and update financial planning, forecasting, and modelling guidelines.
• Maintain a group balance scorecard and track KPI performance.
• Coordinate with shareholders and the Board to provide budgeting assumptions and long‑range plans.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including digital tools and automation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage confidential financial data.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and process efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex financial information to senior stakeholders.
