Head of Budgeting & Forecasting

About the role

The Head of Budgeting & Forecasting will lead the end‑to‑end budgeting and forecasting process for QAFCO and its subsidiaries. You will design digital templates, ensure compliance with policy deadlines, and provide accurate financial insights to senior management and the Board.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, digitise and control the annual budgeting and forecasting workflow across all departments.
• Receive, review and validate budget and forecast submissions for accuracy, completeness and alignment with corporate objectives.
• Suggest amendments, consolidate data and prepare consolidated budget presentations for the management team and Board of Directors.
• Monitor budget versus forecast throughout the year, produce variance analyses and update financial models.
• Prepare group‑wide consolidated budgets (revenues, OPEX, CAPEX) and related financial statements.
• Maintain and update budgeting and forecasting guidelines, market price analysis and a group balance scorecard.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting or financial planning within a large organisation.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage confidential financial data.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in preparing reports for senior leadership and boards.
